Flow partners with the Community HUB Corporation

“Flow has embarked on an initiative to promote the effective use of cable and broadband technology, as a teaching and learning tool by partnering with three organizations that specialize in primary and secondary school education and skill enhancements in communities.
Hop Alog, whose programs cover pre through primary school education, is dedicated to the development of a wide range of learning materials for young children. Included in their efforts have been numerous workshops with teachers, parents and community groups to provide fundamental advice on helping to lay strong learning foundation.
i-Learn, users digital technology and social networking to promote mobile learning for secondary school students. They target educators, teachers and training officers to facilitate collaboration in the use of digital technology in today’s learning environment.
The Community HUB facilitates the development of youth in undeserved communities through, arts, enterprise and environmental programming. A unique aspect of the programme focuses on issues surrounding Information Communications Technology as an enabling platform for positive change.
These partnerships have served to reinforce Flow’s Aim.Aspire.Achieve Program (Triple A) that also provides free Cable & Broadband services to government and government-assisted schools. This initiative has and will continue to provide us with an opportunity to advocate the innovative and effective use of cable & broadband in education.
